Virtual Face Training Seminar: Glowing Skin at Your Fingertips with Facial Massage!
Elmwood Spa featured a 45-minute Facial Massage Seminar with Elmwood Senior Spa Services Manager Heather MacKay. Improve your home-care skin routine with this informative, interactive workshop. Kneading the skin relieves tension, calms the mind, and improves oxygen and blood flow circulation, leading to better absorption of products and your skin health.
During this virtual class, Ms. Mackay shared her expertise in the beneficial skincare habit of facial massage. Participants learned how to incorporate the correct facial massage techniques into their daily skincare routine. This free guided workshop explained the benefits and feature techniques for:muscle lifting, lymphatic drain massage, headache relief, the proper application of serums and moisturizers, jade roller. and gua sha usage.

Forest bathing, Meditation, Outdoor wellness activities, Yoga
Ste' Anne's Spa held a complimentary Forest Reflection activity for our guests and staff in the beautiful cedar forest within our trail system. During this connecting with nature activity, participants were invited to immerse and commune with nature, creating an experience of reflection and togetherness and ending with a traditional closing tea ceremony.

Participants reconnected with nature on their Forest Bathing Trail- the practice of Shinrin-Yoku. Walking slowly, pausing, and awakening their senses as a Certified Forest Therapy Guide took guests on a sensory journey.
To celebrate World Wellness Weekend, on Sunday September 19th Scandinave Spa Blue Mountain offered a limited package which included guaranteed access to the Scandinavian Baths ($85+ taxes) and a Free Guided Forest Bathing walk with certified Forest Therapy Guide, Beth Foster. The Forest Bathing experience was approximately 45 minutes in duration.

Awakening to Better Beauty Event
Awakening to Better Beauty is a private annual complementary event. On this day of pampering we dedicated it to nourishing our mind, body and soul. The deserving attendees are people in their community going through cancer treatment who are nominated to attend from The Brantford General Hospitals Oncology nursing department. They chose 10 people to attend this year's Covid friendly & refreshing wellness retreat day, their event included: Mindfulness, meditation, sound bath, yoga, Labyrinth walk, nutritious lunch. They also featured a holistic nutritionist for a workshop, ss well as a keepsake photo shoot to commemorate the day.
